Some of the very very potent strains, such as the Hazes, have been around for freaking EVER... I think that the average smoker is just getting more access to stronger strains, and yes, the new ones being bred are certainly up there in potency... but yeah that's awfully silly, ER visits? meh. silly nOObs.
