Hi everyone. I am currently taking 10 mg of Lexapro per day. Every few days, maybe like 2 or 3 times per week, I take .5 Xanax twice daily for anxiety. I don't like to take it every day (even though I have my anxiety disorder every day) because of the physical dependence factor. I watched my mother destroy herself with a Xanax/Vicodin addiction and I do not want to take any risks. I figure if I take the Xanax with a few days break in between my body won't get dependent.

And, I smoke marijuana every day. Probably the equivalent of one fairly skinny cigarette style joint (with no tobacco in it) per day. I use those Smokin' Clean cellulose papers, they are awesome. I smoke a little of the joint in the morning, a little in the afternoon and a little at night.

While I feel perfectly fine combining Lexapro, Xanax and weed (I feel fantastic, in fact), I am wondering if it is safe.

I am a reasonably healthy person with low blood pressure at my ideal body weight, I don't smoke cigarettes and I get plenty of vitamins. I did have a "questionable 2 mm unruptured aneurysm) but the neurosurgeon who reviewed my MRI sent me home, told me to resume my normal life, that the chances of anything bad happening from it were slim to none. So I did go back to my life which includes smoking weed. He doesn't seem to think it is anything serious and may just be a normal vessel variation.

The only real maladies affecting my life are severe generalized anxiety disorder, hypochondria and clinical depression. What I'm on makes me feel much better, especially on the Xanax and weed days.

I know not to drink alcohol with Xanax or Lexapro, and I don't. I just never heard if weed is bad to combine with those two meds. I don't want to have a heart attack or overdose or something.

Advice? Feedback? Experiences to share?
