It seems like whenever someone says they don't really believe in astrology, they usually say it in the same sentence that also says something about horoscope. I think the horoscope thing gives astrology a bad rep. It's for people who don't want to be accountable for their own lives, unless you say it's for fun. But what's fun to me is seeing your attributes radiate so consistently from members of your same sign. A lot can be learned about oneself by acknowledging the frame of reference of one's sign. Horoscopes don't ever seem accurate; what's accurate are the similarities that virgos share, and that leos share, etc.
