Part 4 – Here’s how it’s done – (The fun stuff).
Using only a minute amount of weed (one or two grams), this recipe will create about 15 grams of highly potent canna butter/oil that can be added to, or mixed with, other ingredients to make enough ‘space product’ to give four people an intense body and mind high for around 6 to 8 hours each (depending on the quality of the weed, size of the person and when they last ate etc).
The Method: If using a Pan and Mixing Bowl
Pour around three inches of boiling water into your cooking pan, then sit the mixing bowl in the water so that it’s floating just off the bottom (very important – see picture), add the Ghee (clarified butter) to the mixing bowl and let it melt, then add your hashish, kief or powdered bud and dissolve slowly while keeping the lid on and the boiling water just barely simmering beneath.
N.B. Floating the mixing bowl in the water and keeping the lid on prevents ‘burning off’ the THC which evaporates/vaporises at high temperatures (around 140 centigrade plus). The boiling water keeps the butter/oil at the perfect temperature of around 100 degrees centigrade (boiling point) to slowly ‘wring’ out every last molecule of ‘spacey goodness’!.
Simmer the hash/kief/bud for as long as you’re prepared to wait.
Ideally, a minimum of 1 hour if using hashish, 1 - 2 hours if using Kief and 2 or more hours if using bud.
Once done, you can save the butter/oil for use later (because ghee is virtually pure fat it will last for many months in the fridge), or, just simply add some food to your mixing bowl and warm through before serving. A tin of Chilli maybe, or how about some Thai or Indian food (canna-curry?), or if you’re feeling really lazy, empty in a tin of beans and just eat, enjoy and fly!
The Method: If using a Slow Cooker (Crock pot).
The beauty of slow cookers is you can pretty much switch them on and forget about them.
Typically, a slow cooker will have 2 or 3 settings (low, medium and high).
Simply set the cooker to ‘low’ (around 80/90 degrees centigrade), add the ghee/oil and then the hash/kief or bud and leave to slowly simmer for the required time (see above).
Recipe tips: If you’re feeling really lazy, mix the butter/oil with a couple of tablespoons of nutella or peanut butter when cool (it doesn’t matter which, as the THC is already activated and bound into the fat), and spread on toast or crackers. No further cooking or heating needed.
Important, the THC content in this butter will be around 75 to 90 percent stronger then is achievable in a regular ‘firecracker’, so tread carefully. It’s enough for 4 people, so don’t eat them all yourself unless you want to experience a ‘whitey’.
