It is a trip.... .. I had a female siamese cat did the same thing. I would empty a package of little friskees and roll it up into a ball and throw it. She would retrieve it over and over; each time, laying it at my feet and then look down range to see where it will land next.

If it went under the refrigerator, she was pissed....
