[quote]Mantis Hey bud, I just started using LED's and I've been doing a lot of research on them.. I can tell you for sure you need more blue spectrum in the initial life of the plants.. I have been trying to figure out the exact ratio of blue/red for veg and flowering clycles.. I want to know how much red is actually needed for vegging and how much blue is actually needed for flowering.. I know obviously you want a bigger blue spectrum during vegetative growth, and a higher red spectrum when flowering.. so I want to figure out what minimum of each you need for each cycle..

well I think you definitely need more blue for veg, but I havent even read the whole thread yet.. hopefully we can chat..

take care good times with ur growing !![quote]

not enough blue for veg?...you see the pics?...they are bushier than any time i have done HID for sure...thanks for your opinion though
