Pabst Blue Ribbon ... wow ... I grew up less than two blocks from their Peoria Heights brewery, laid there in bed at night, listening to the barrels rolling down the conveyors

... my first trucking job was inter-brewery runs between Peoria Heights, and the Milwaukee brewery ... in the late 60's, Pabst overtook Miller's beer, and for a couple years, was the #2-selling beer in America ! ... until they closed down the Heights brewery in the mid-70's, and sold the rest of the company out, it was absolutely delicious brew ... the water and recipes were changed over the years, so it ain't what it used to be, but glad to hear it's still good
