No doubt he will get their votes --- they just might not do the hard work they have done on behalf of Republican candidates in the past. Neither party has to do anything to get the votes of their true believer wings. But they both have to do what it takes to get those true believers to run the registration drives, knock on doors, man the phones, rasie the money, put up the posters, etc. I don't think McCain is going to get as much of that kind of work out of evangelicals as other Republicans have in the past.
