The difference being that dissenters can be exiled to freedom, whereas in "the civilized" world they are exiled to prison...

Something tells me that the industrial revolution has a lot to do with things, but on the side note, i do understand how politics play a part in everything, big and small, it is just that i am very dissatisfied with a lot of the political crap that is going on right now, and has been for the last 8 years.

that and the whole prohibition thing for the last 70 years... which is accomplishing more harm than good, and yet gets by uninhibited... i think that's the major deal for me, that i cannot, and refuse to tolerate. if i knew how it was able to BE that way, i could try to make a change... but none of it makes sense from where i am standing.


maybe you can tell me where to stand to make sense of it all.
