Too much butter for that amount of weed. I stick would have been better, and then you could 'cut' the cannabutter with regular butter, making the flavor less in your recipes.
Look in 'edibles' for my washed cannabutter tutorial, and follow the 'washing' procedure.
I use a crock pot on low for up to 24 hours with LOTS of water, stirring frequently.
If your butter has a scorched flavor, you can make toasted almond caramels, and there is a recipe in my grow log which you can find if you search the term 'donkey dick'. I think the recipe is on page 5 or 6 of the log. Add a bit of extra almond extract to the recipe, and omit the salt if you are using salted butter.
