Lockout and stress will also change the structure of your leaves, too.

What nutes, what form. (water-soluable...time released pellets...liquid...?

Jumping back-n-forth with foliar and soil-applied nutes is a great way to lose all nutrient control, and cause lock-out, stress, stretching and delayed flowering. (and weird shaped leaves) As your lady starts to bud...you'll likely not want extra moisture (from foliar sprays) sitting on/in the buds for too long of a stretch, unless mold is your ultimate goal. Especially if already humid in your region.
