I'll admit that I don't do it the most effective way each time. Sometimes I use butter on a pan with the ground up flowers and cook it on very low heat for 30 minutes, stirring frequently. Same would go if I used vegetable oil, which I did last night and got hammered. Then I throw it all into the mix and bake accordingly (If you need more oil/butter than the recipe asks, just use as much as you need to cover the ground flower in the pan.)

This is a really simple, lazy way to do it, but it has ALWAYS worked for me, so far. If you want you strain out your weed before you put the oil into the mix, fine, but not always necessary IMO.
