I also just made my first batch of edibles. I took a couple fistfuls of trim and threw it in a pot with olive oil cooked it on low for an hour, then strained it and cooked my tofu with the olive oil. I used to way to much and both my wife and myself got extremely fucked up to the point where neither of us were enjoying it. I am not exaggerating at all when I tell you it was comparable to eating good acid. I could not move off the couch for awhile.
