yes, several layers of cheesecloth is just fine.

if you find the grease cones, turn one inside out, put two together with the seams inside, and on opposite sides. this makes a strong filter that wont separate at thhe seams as easily as usning onlly one.

if you do this very often, you can make your own reuseable filters out of muslin -- which I will be doing.

I also use a potato ricer to help press out the rest of the oil trapped with the herb after squeezing and wringing as much as I can with my hands.
