They should be OK in those cups for a couple of weeks. You can repot them though when your are ready. Just be sure not to mess up the root mass growing. Maybe you should just put the cup in the container your growing in with the medium already in it and just cut the cup in 1/2 instead of trying to slide the plant out of the cup.....Just my
though...
