you do flush if you give too many nutes. you also want to give your ladies a flushing about once a month with pH'd water. add some NON-ANTIBACTERIAL dishsoap at the rate of a couple of drops to a gallon. adding the soap will help to get rid of any salt build up.

you also want to stop giving nutes about two weeks prior to harvest. you only give water as needed. this is debatable but most recommend it. this helps the plants use up the nutes stored in itself and helps with the taste/smoke.
