keep in mind that there is the 40/60 phenomena.

this basically says that the first 40% of time in flower is spent stretching and the last 60% is used to thicken up those flowers!

if they are dark green and the tips are starting to yellow then i'd say you are right at the edge of pushing them too far with the nutes. the dark green is more than likely too much nitrogen (which is not good in flower, although it could be a nute deficiency). the yellow tips are nute burn though (from the sounds of everything). so that coupled with the dark green is where i arrive at my answer.

you might want to post in the plant problems forum. fill out the troubleshooting form and post pics if ya got 'em.
