Definitely could be spider mites, judging from looks only.

MJSticky1: Do you have any "spider webbing" on your buds or tips of the plants?

Is this your only plant (not just MJ, any kind of plant)? If not, quarantine the sick one immediately until you figure out the problem. Spider mites move from plant to plant very easily. Good luck.
