Man... the mind is actually a very powerful thing... it may make ones healthy body get sick, and may make ones sick body get healthy. So, if you actually are a hypochondriac, i would advise you not to read anything health related, for avoid putting "ideas" into your mind...

Well... for me its the most practical way of smoking... spoons dissipate the heat, and so its impossible to smoke with it when the lighters fuel is near the end... and knives needs a larger source of heat, as an oven... i dont know how long one would have to heat a knife with a bic lighter until it got hot enough... so, after i learned to be careful, using aluminium became the best choice for me.

Maybe it was because, if done carefully and properly, it isnt a SO bad way of smoking.
