Yo
Here's the link to the other thread about this that was started already.
http://boards.cannabis.com/activism/...es-needed.html
It may make it somewhat more challenging for the Feds, could effectively nullify any prosecution that they may seek, by encouraging more individuals to grow, which would hopefully significantly increase availability and number of growers, most of all it may give more people the courage to come out of the closet and help change the common stereotype image of people that use marijuana. Who knows?

My signature is on there already. A college campus is a good place to collect signatures.
It would be amazing if it went through, but the problem is that about half of the people would mark "I'd rather get an STD than have marijuana illegal" on the ballot cuz they don't know anything.
If it does make it onto the ballot, I will donate to the dude's organization for him to spread the truth about herb when it counts.

yes, if this goes through, and it is legalized in one state, it could start a chain reaction. it would be a huge first step

No, it would never pass, not even in liberal California. However, what it would do is get people in the state, and also the entire country to start seriously talking about legalization. The problem facing legalization people are not talking about it. Everyone needs to be talking about this with their family and friends, this is what will eliminate the lies that have flourished for so many years even after being proven as false propaganda.
So even though I'm certain it would fail, I strongly support this getting to the ballot so that it will get everyone in California to start talking about legalization. Nothing bad could come about this going to the ballot, so every Californian should be signing to get this on!!

Ask your local dispensary if they have the petition forms and sign them. Jack Herer is working his ass off to make this happen.
p.s.
V.V.C. has petition forms available for patients local to Valley Village (91607)

BigFatPothead, I gotta ask first of all, why haven't you posted since you signed up over 2 years ago? While I applaud your efforts to help out people, since this is a dangerous area (giving legal advice on the net) we really need something more concrete. I looked at the sites you posted (which since there is no advertising on them it looks like they should stay up), your myspace page (nice play on words with Roland A Duby BTW) , your other websites, etc etc etc and I don't know what to think. If you are the true Ronnie Smith then it seems you are out there fighting the war for reformation of marijuana laws. If you aren't the real Ronnie Smith then that is a terrible thing to do. I don't want to suppress your voice on here but we really need some more proof or something that shows your program to beat marijuana drug charges work (I'm sure the other mods will agree as you have already been mentioned between us). Someone who I know from another forum even came behind one of your posts to dispute your claims and I believe this person is taking law classes (not sure if they are pre-law or criminal justice or law school) so they have some knowledge in this area.
Instead of posting the same thing in several threads (which you are getting borderline spamming) can you please provide some proof or something to your claims? It is quite interesting reading material but try not to spam the board with it and please try to submit some proof.

I have been on the road
For the last 2 1/2 years I have been doing nothing but driving Jack Herer from event to event. I signed up with this forum on my laptop and when that got stolen I failed to remember all the websites I had saved in my favorites on the laptop.
The other day I did a search for pot forums and when I found this one I remembered I had an account so i logged on.
I don't get to spend as much time online as I would like so when I am home I like to spread the word about what I am doing.
Last year I built a device for splitting water into gas, and drove over 6000 miles on water.
I did a comedy tour of California while driving Jack.
I will be performing at the Seattle Hempfest this August.
here is a link to my certified ID
Cannabis Church
I am a very busy pothead
As far as proof,,,
I am willing to offer myself up to be arrested and have it filmed all the way through to the dismissal. If that is something anyone out there would like to film, I would need to find a person with a public access producers certificate.
Thanks for the response, sorry about spamming.
I tried to be as on topic as I could, I didn't post my message in a place where it didn't fit.
As far as that guy from the other site, he says he is 17 and has 2 years of law school, I just don't believe that.
Peace
Roland AA Duby

Please don't go getting yourself arrested just to prove the point, I'm sure you can find someone who has already been arrested.
I did see your car that runs on water, or at least I started to see it.
Has anyone used your defense successfully? See you say you have beaten charges 15 times with the program so why do it on purpose just to film it.
I'm not trying to bust on you but just trying to get the most accurate info possible.

So um, it's the big day...
So um.......
Anybody heard anything?
I am starting to wonder what the hell is going on? I have yet to hear or see ANY, ANY, news ANYWHERE, about this, obviously there have not been enough signatures gathered, or it will be coming down to the last minute?
WTF?
I am sure everyone will be heading out to the clubs to get all the freebies they can.
Sometimes I wonder what the fuck is everyone celebrating?
Ain't nothing in life free, don't forget that, happy 420, what the fuck ever.
Please someone come on here, and tell me I am an ass and that I am an idiot, and provide some current information on what is going on with this, since I am obviously too stupid to figure it out on my own! That would make me happy! I am sorry in advance if ANYONE takes offense to my post, it is not meant to be offensive, just expressing my true frustrations. It's just that I believe that the deadline is 4/20 for the first round of signatures, and well........

OK
I did find on the Cali Sec of States site the status, it is still in circulation. They deadline is April 24th not 4/20, I may have just imagined that was the deadline in my head I guess. Here's the link if you are the other person that is intrested in following this, it allows you to follow the offical status. Pretty cool.
