What a country this is becoming. And they busted Spectrum Labs? People better stock up on Quickfix it may be in short supply soon.
I've watched the movie. I downloaded it off the internet. Its a pretty good documentary. I don't know what policy is here for posting links but if the mods say its OK I can post the links.

now this isnt america bashing BUT,how can it be a valid reason for arrest(supplying paraphenalia that could be used for drug abuse)and yet its legal to sell bullets?.a piece of glassware(bong)vs a bullet?barmy!!so the american government think its okay for its people to be allowed to buy bullets and guns but not bongs and videos?

Comparing it to bullets really doesn't work. Bullets are mostly sold for hunting. Sure, there are some illegal things done with guns and bullets, but it's a completely different matter.
It bothers the crap out of me whenever someone tries to stick up for cannabis, but then the rebuttle from the opposing side has something to do with comparing it to legalizing hard drugs and about how it will be putting pot in the hands of children. It's just a rediculous comparison and they always resort to the same arguments.
I thought it was legal to sell bongs and pipes. You don't have to smoke illegal substances out of them, it's just what they are known for.

how about the fact that to this day, the official stance of the federal government on cannabis is that is it more dangerous than cocaine, and has no medicinal value. both of these statements have been proven wrong over and over again, and yet cannabis is still schedule 1 substance. |

And how do we change this corrupted view point of the government?
It would be nice to have a website where they post the stance of every elected official in the US. Just ask the simple question, What is your stance on marijuana use?
Then maybe we could make an educated decision come elction day.

'comparing to bullets really doesn't work',i'm just saying that being busted for selling bongs and dvds and being able to sell bullets legally is a bit bizarre,when the argument for the illegality of bongs+grow dvds is that they could be used for mischief,when bullets in america are pretty much used for one thing(killing people).seems wierd is'all.anywho chong you rule!!!

i've just been watching the american drug war<last white hope> dvd,and i've gotta say its sad that i'm guessing 90% of the american users of this site could very easyily find themselves locked up.:-(

Funny I watched it too last night. Its a good documentary. Its time for our legislators to atleast cut the funding off all these government orginizations invovled in the drug war. |

Tommy Chong wasn't busted. He was just questioned about profiting off his incarceration....which he didn't. The sting is labeled Operation True Test which included the raid of about 9 different detox companies...Its an attempt to shut down the detox industry. Quick Fix isn't going anywhere..trust me.

nothing has made me more sad, or opened my eyes more, than the treatment of mr. chong. It was the first time that i looked at the conspiracy videos as a possibility. If the gov't is so open about its mistreatment of free americans.....i wonder what they choose to hide! Is there any place in the world that actually has freedom?
