folks, there is only one way to win our war, MONEY ! ... right now, NORML and MPP need to be bribing politicians, (while the crooked bastards are begging for campaign money) ,,, yeah, I know they like to call it 'lobbying', but we know what it is really is ... money is ALL that matters in politics, they give a shit less about anybody's dreams and ideals, or sense of right and wrong ... Example: I give $10 a month, auto-deducted from my VISA, to Marijuana Policy Project (MPP), my preferred organization (and, I'm poor, seriously) ... I don't miss $10 a month at all, and if everybody did that, well, just imagine $$$$$$$$ ... MONEY is the only way to change things in Washington D.C. ... let's get after it, folks !

I too donate too MPP and have occasionally donated to NORML...I prefer MPP because IMHOthey do more for the fight...I wish more people would get involved and do something other than bitch about the laws. I have written my congressman on damn near every pot issue that comes up...And because no one does anything, now Fl has one of the worst pot penalties in the country...Class 3 felony for 25 plants!!!!! even after admitting cannabis' medical values... get on it people....image is right!!!!

that's great, every little bit helps, it really adds up ... like others, I feel the Marijuana Policy Project (MPP) has done the most good for us, overall ... they are the folks responsible for medical marijuana getting on ballots all over America ... I've taken some heat, over the 'send money' statement, but I stand by it ... I'm POOR, seriously so ... my only income is Social Security, but if I couldn't come up with a lousy $10 a month, maybe I should shut off my computer or TV for awhile ... that would save $10 a month ... just because you donate money, doesn't mean you still can't work to organize, or contact Congressmen, etc. ( I just wrote two CA State representatives a few minutes ago, regarding Assembly Bill 2743, which is to prevent CA law enforcement personnel from aiding and abetting Federal authorities that hassle Medical Marijuana-recommendees) ... we all need to do our part, as we are able, but CASH doesn't 'talk', it SHOUTS ...

DUDE, U R a true asset to this site and the lives of those of us that really need this help. I've been on pills for 20 yrs and opiate for past 8--Whatever I can do to make it safer and better for myself and others--I AM IN!! I found with use, I DID NOT EVEN HAVE WITHDRAWAL FROM OPIATES!! And unless you've been in the same boat u wouldn't understand. WE NEED TO BE ACTIVE. Sorry u got flak 4 sharing what we need 2 do to not feel like second class citizens. I have voted since the day I could and will do anything else that could help! AGAIN THANKS FOR THE ADVICE AND I'll help change anything I can, IF I NO--AND that is what this site is about, I hope!!
