Every year in a secure secret location there is a party called "Harvest fest" It is by invite only and the location is kept secret till 1 week before. The location is always in a place thats way outta site and you can definately see peeps comming. And the front access road is always watched.
The MJ is free and its by the pound. grown just for the party.
I remember last year a salad bowl FULL of cigerette pre-rolled J's.
Help yourself.
They had top of the line shit there too. WW and WR.

Growing techniques and games to play with prizes to win.
There is NO entry fee but a donation is appreciated.
The party starts 11-7-08 and will run 24 hours non stop till 8 pm on 11-9-08
Tents are encouraged. lol
I will attend for a short while to taste the fruits of my friends labors.

i don't know about parties like that elsewhere but hell man...I would LOVE to go to that one haha. How do you end up getting invited, just knowing people etc... your one luck guy let me tell you

Yes, Knowing someone who was invited last year gives privilage to invite a trusted close friend the next year. and it just grows.
I already know who i would invite from this board next year. lol
But that person would be to busy to attend. I think.
That would be kewl if others did the same eh?
If you got everyone you know that grew or smoked and asked them in the sping to dedicate one plant to a fall smoke fest and held it anually, I bet they would jump at the chance to go, we have edibles, almost everything is canna based. including chocolate candies. I guess I am one of the lucky ones.

I dont know of anything like that where i live, but we do have what we call the Hash Bash. You probably heard of it, its held in Ann Arbor, Michigan were pot is basically decriminlized. Its a protest/party type of thing and everyone just tokes up.

Yes, haha, you are very fortunate to be able to attend that event . I wish I knew people who were into this kind of thing because it would be amazing to experience it. So were you saying you can submit a plant and possibly get invited? I assume it would have to be a really nice plant to win haha. The only people I know who grow aren't that good.

Local Herbfest every spring

I got all excited last spring when I saw the big Coca-Cola sponsored banners with "Herbfest 08", so I stopped the car.

They had lots of rosemary, basil and lavender......

Yess I beginning to get worried I might never get a chance to go to one.

We have a great hempfest every year in August up here in Northern Ontario.

It's run on a private campground type property in an unorganized township. This means no local by-laws or local pd. (but the OPP set up a ride check on the road in every year)

It's a lot of fun with all kinds of events and bands up on stage. We have the big bud contest, Cannabis Olympics and the junkyard bong contest to name a few.

People from all over Canada and the USA travel here to attend.
