What happens to cannabis plants metabolism when it is in 12 hours of darkness.
Will it still take in nutes and oxygen.
Will it still grow.
Exactly what dose it do.

For the most part, it takes in the stuff it needs during the day and process that stuff at night. "Exactly" what it does, I don't know.

i believe i hope people will add to this but it does not take any co2 up, or nutes, something to do with everything it has been producing through out the day is then converted sugars so it is some what resting.

I heard somewhere that they dont need as much oxygen at night i dont know if this is true.
I know trees take in co2 during day and release oxygen at night, do plants do the same?

I thought it was the other way around - that during the day the plants (and trees) do the oposite of us - eg - breathe in co2 and exhale oxygen - and during the night they do what we do - breathe in o2 and exhale co2.
