Not really. Purple strains by and large have been seen as a novelty item by many older growers. I like my weed to TASTE good, and only care about purple as a secondary bonus. The quality purples are out there, but look to clone-only strains for good examples.

If you run a purple strain just for the color, this will maximize the purple results:
-Low temps the last 3 weeks of flower. Run your air conditioner in the upper 60s day/upper 50s night. Only do this in the final flush period or lose significant yield.
-Run Purple Maxx/ snow storm on them
-Flush well to remove nitrogen reserves in the last 2 weeks of flower and let the purple show through

Thanks,I found it.
It can be used as foliar feeding and as an additive durring the flowering sycle,or atleast thats what the listing on ebay states.
It also stated it could be used with GRAVITY.I also found this listed as Humboldt County Gravity Foliar.Do you think I should get both or would the first ones that you recomened be enough?

This is the link to the ad for the Gravity foliar feed:
Humboldt County Gravity Foliar Hydroponics HPS 8 oz - eBay (item 280224834284 end time May-13-08 19:24:23 PDT)

And for the PURPLE MAXX Snow Storm:
HYDROPONICS Emerald Triangle PURPLE MAXX Snow Storm 8oz - eBay (item 270160586882 end time May-25-08 20:37:45 PDT)

Please tell me if these are the right ones. And thank you for your help.
