Thread: Do these babies look alright?

New to the process and not really growing with a conventional set up, but these have been sprouted above the dirt for about 4 or 5 days and im wondering if they're where they should be and if they look okay. Any helps appreciated. Thanks

what kind of water,nuts,soil,and lights and ph you useing and i will try to help you

haha this is what i mean by unconventional, im using a brand of cactus soil, i think miracle gro? i know generally you dont want to use miracle gro but its high in nitrogen phosphorous and potash so it seemed pretty good. i only have 3 regular Fluorescent bulbs on it at 1300 lumens each. and im using regular tap water thats filtered. as far as ph goes i havent even bothered messing with that. but nuts? thats new to me. where do nuts come in?

ok lets see um if your working with low money this is what i would do for right now. your water needs to be about 6.5ph if you dont have ph meter try this> tap water is say around 7.7 8.0 ph i use vinger to bring ph down. let your TAP water stand for 24 hours so you mite want to save some jugs use two tsp of viger with one gal of water shake it up good> ok to water> if your useing a pretty good size pot with pot soil this is a good methed> water one day nuthing next so plant can use all the water and dont rot the root>water>nuthing>nuts>nuthing>water>nuthing>nuts >nuthing> day by day this is how i do it and all ways will throu the hole gro. ok nuts get u some miracle grow mix it to half of what the the label says and remember water>nuthing>nuts>nuthing. ok and your light if your useing Fluorescent bulb put them close as poss like 1 to 2 inchs away this is so your plant will not strech and what i mean strech is it is serching to find light fluor bulbs dont get that hot so this will not hurt your plants. this mite save your plant untill you get some money and maybe get a good light like a 400watt hps and read up watch you tube and learn as good as you can but i think this will by you some time to get better set up reply back and maybe a new pick let me know whats going on
