I know a lot of you seniors are getting ready to graduate and some of you will be making that next step to college...well for all of you wondering how you will smoke in that dorm room at college here is your guide. I want everyone to know that I am incredibly paranoid and feel uncomfortable doing burn rides but had ZERO problem doing this, i'm not promising a little smell i'm promising NO smell if you do this right.

1. Find out if your roommate smokes if he doesn't tolerate it your shit out of luck...if this happens I recommend buying a "cigarette" one hitter they look like cigarettes but have a small bowl at the end..a lot of head-shops carry them. Just go for walks or chill in your dorm smoking area but make sure there is plenty of visibility.

2. If it is tolerated by the roommate here are the steps

I. Purchase a metal pipe with a screw cap they are available in most head shops(pictured below) $10-30 USD

II. Find a small 8 - 12 oz water bottle like (pictured below) I personally used one of the small Deer Park Bottles. Take a sharp object and make a hundred or so holes in the bottom of the bottle. Make the holes big enough that you could take a paper clip unfold it and be able to fit it through them but no bigger than that. Now throw away the cap and completely fill the water bottle with dryer sheets.

III. Now take a BOX fan and mount it backwards in the window..if your up high in the building no worries but if your low in the building and people outside can see your window, put the fun backwards in place and then take the curtain and close it completely except fold it around the fan so all that can be seen sticking out the window is the fan which will be moving so no one outside could tell that its facing out. AGAIN MAKE SURE THE FAN IS FACING OUT.

IV. Pack the bowl and screw the cap on.

V. The lovely thing about the screw cap metal bowls is the cap that goes over the bowl just has a single hole in the middle in which you light your weed through. This will eliminate the secondary smoke that is usually emitted from a regular open bowl, only leaving smoke coming from your mouth which will be eliminated by the water bottle spoof.

VI. Not necessary but always a good idea to towel the door. If you do the smoking process completely correctly you will have zero smell but I know occasionally i would forget a step such as one time I left the fan facing me when i hit it and blew smoke throughout the room. Lets just say I was glad to have the towel in. Make sure to fold the towel in a way to make sure it can not be seen from the hall, on the first night have your roomate towel the door and stand outside and see if you can make it out. If you can then just be careful and dont worry about it.

VII. Have a can of febreze,axe, or oust handy. I recommend Oust Zero smell its a brand they make that does not have a fragrance so if you feel necessary to spray you will not stink up the hall with roses.

VIII. Hit the pipe (you can hit it hard but again you should not be taking enormous rips because you will cough out smoke before blowing it into the bottle) hold in the smoke and while doing this take your finger and cap that hole over the screw cap to put out any cherry from the metal pipe. Now take your spoof and place it on the fan so that the top of the bottle is facing you and blow into the top of the bottle which will blow any smoke outside through the fan.

IX. Thats it...Again trust me i'm paranoid its zero smell if done responsibly even with very good stinky weed. I've even had 20 mph indrafts and still no problem.

Just remember to keep spray handy because once you hit a pipe you constantly feel like the room horribly smells of weed when in reality it does not but it feels nice to spray a little bit every 4 or 5 hits to make yourself feel more comfortable.



Also the key is to know when to smoke:

Even though it does not smell there are just nights that you should be careful here are the prime times to smoke in a dorm

M-Th After 12:00 pm
Sunday After 12:00
Any morning is fine too.

Avoid smoking friday and saturday nights because you just dont know when a knock will be coming...just go out and get drunk and come back friday or saturday at 2 am and by that time its much more safe to smoke in the dorm.

I did this for a year and had zero close calls. I had friends loiter outside my room and i asked them if they could ever smell it and they never had a clue. Again be responsible with it because it is a privilege and have a great first year at college.

i hit friends vapes in the dorm all the time its just any sort of a decent vape your looking at around 100-200 bucks. This guide is for the cheap assholes like myself.

I did all that shit. Works like a charm. Then you get more comfortable and ditch some of it....it's cool though, my RA's were cool(or too afraid of confrontation). I fucking love college.

If someone is living in a suite-type dorm, then they should try smoking in the bathroom. Back at college, the bathroom was in the center of a cluster of dorm rooms and therefore had no windows. Instead, it had air-intake vents in the ceiling. Just smoke in a stall and blow into these vents. The smoke is taken up and away, and never has the chance to drift into the halls because of the way the air flows.

Again, this only works with semi-private baths.

I didn't read it all, but a fan is definitely the key component here. The metal pipe could be great addition, but we used a glass pipe all the time. We also got away with smoking blunts in the room using the fan technique.

It also just depends on being careful...there was of course sometimes where we got reckless, and the hallway stank to high heaven...then it's all luck from there!

all you need is the fan, some febreeze/other air neutralizer (not freshener) and some common sense.
use a towel and the fan for the obvious part, keept hem on when youre smoking, and you can smoke whatever, short of a fat ass joint or blunt session, bowls and bongs and small joints are fine, just makes ure that if youre smokin a jay or somethin that the fan is on while you smoke it, nad just do that and spray some febreeze/ burn some incense and youll be fine after aobut 20-30 minutes
before my mom allowed me to smoke it worked like a charm, now it doesnt even matter anymore...

an incent will kill that smell

i had a friend get busted covering up weed in the dorm with incense..candles/incense are now illegal in 90 percent of college dorms. Incense has a very unique smell as well.

Sounds like your going for a PHD in weed smoke masking, what if you happen to not have any windows?

i did that with the bottle and the dryer sheets. really works well but you need to remember to use a shit load of sheets. beyond that i had about everyone on my side of the dorm knock on my door before i started using the dryer sheets and say are you smokin in here. no one cared. i was still paranoid about it but really no one ever cared.oh one little tweak though i smoked h itters. you ghost that hitter throw it under your pillow. thats how its done.
