Does anyone here ever buy, or have subscribed to , or read once and a while a cannabis magazine? Whether it be Weed World, Cannabis Culture,etc.!

I, myself buy Weed World, or High Times, or Cannabis Culture once and a while, which ever one's cover looks more interesting lol

Treating Yourself Magazine. It is a magazine with very little in the way of "bodacious babes with bongs", but is filled with a wide variety of excellent articles. Growing, medical use, recipes, and much more are in each issue. And it just keeps getting bigger and better with every issue! Most of the back issues are posted at .com, so you can see what an outstanding magazine it is!- Granny

Soft secrets is a good free mj publication in the u.k which i pick up every couple of months, i use to read high times but haven't seen it for a long time.

I have a few High Times, and a lot of Cannabis Culture mags... I really like reading MAD Magazine while stoned, though

I've read a couple issues of high times and was not particularly impressed. Bud porn, and advertising aimed SOLELY towards straight males. Dude. I spend inordinate amounts of money on seeds and grow supplies too... but the bikini chick just isn't doin' a thing for the Stink. Throw me a freaking bone here!

I like Growing Edge better. It's oriented towards legal veggie and flower farmers but the information is much more useful, and the advertising is aimed towards a broader sector.

i used to read regularly HT and CC and bought one weed world when i was in canada. i havnt read or seen a TY in my area but i do visit the boards sometimes. i like flipping and reading through mags but with what we are paying for the internet and stuff, i havnt bought a new magazine in 6 months. i have a little collection of the first 2 going. i agree, the boobs dont do it for me either but still they have some good articles. " i swear, i am reading it for the buds!" lol

I occasionaly buy weed mags. Like High Times and a few others. I enjoy looking at the nice buds, bongs, and I like hearing all the news.

I find that a lot of the mainstream mags are full of braindead fluff... and I am a young, straight male. Treating Yourself sounds good, thanks for the heads up stormcrow!

I haven't read High Times in a couple of years, but it was much better in it's early days with lots of information and articles geared toward understanding the use and history of weed and psychedelic drugs. It also covered related cultural and political issues.

HT was great in the early days.
Then it went downhill.
Then it was cool again for a while.
Then not again.
Then it was better, but still not great.
Then Kyle Kushman.

then it went back downhill.
Now it seems to be getting better again, but I agree with stinky.
As long as they need the monkey spank advertising and the strip club attitude to make it a financial success, it just won't have the respect of the intelligent stoner community.
