sorry for this noob question but im wondering about when a bowl is "cashed". when i lived in america we would keep lighting the bowl until it wouldnt light anything and we would get no smoke. we could usually get a lot of hits and get pretty ripped. but I moved to canada this year and the people if been smoking with only light bowls once or twice and then re pack when theres still lightable shit in the bowl. when i tried this i got just as ripped as i did when i took more hits. its probably better bud here but is there a point where its not worth lighting the ash anymore? like maybe theres no more THC? any comments would be helpful.

I usually smoke from either a joint or a bong, so either way you know it's cashed, because it's all gone. But yeah, if it's in a pipe, I generally hit it until I stop seeing distinct pieces of bud, and it all looks like ash.

I totally know what youre talking about. im one of the people constantly repacking bowls, because i hate the taste of resin, that nasty black stuff. Its bad for your lungs and tastes like shoe polish. ill still smoke it when i have no weed, like now. im gonna go pick up a quarter and get blaaazed.

ill usually keep smoking until its done, but after basically every hit my finger is in the bowl exposing the unburnt material, i seem to have gotten better hits this way, bowls dont last as long, but they taste better, and the beat hits dont even light, so i dont have to worry about that part, plus screens keep the ash out of my mouth.

no, from the looks of it its smoking out of the downstem on a bong with a carb cause it doesnt slide out, kind of stupid, someone should shoot someone cause of it.

well one time i packed a .3gram snap and then after i hit it i pulled out the bowl and blew the smoke back into the downstem. the milky smoke went through the diffuser, up through the perc, and out the mouthpiece. it looked pretty cool

have you ever tried hitting the resin at the bottom of the bowl?

After your bud is cashed and you dump it out light the bowl (and keep lighting it) and pull hard (while still lighting it) and you will have monstrous hits that will guarentee you to be fucked up

The "black hits" are just burnt reefer. How can weed that has had a flame applied to it already be any worse for you than a fresh bowl?

Just use a poker then it'll burn evenly and you'll know when it's cashed.

It's cashed when the ashes hit the back of your throat, at least that's a good way to tell for noobs. After you get some experience you can kinda tell when the ashes start caving in on themselves just before they get sucked through.
