It's too bad really that the Japanese are so down on weed, because with their technical ingenuity and their ongoing war against all things natural, they could probably come up with some amazing genetically modified weed --- cannabis japonica. The Japanese developed the cubical watermalon for the convenience of storing it in the refrigerator, so I'm sure they would be equally inovative with the weed.
