The reason i ask is i think it is good to add to someone's rep if they help you or even if they are friendly and make you laugh and brighten up your day, well thats what i think maybe i am just silly i dont know.

I dont think that you have to start awesome threads, like i said I will rep someone if they make me laugh smile or for just being nice and also for lots of other reasons because its a friendly thing to do, and in my opinion it makes a website a bit more friendly.

I'M NEW AND DON'T KNOW HOW! BUT, I think it is important to support each other and stay informed! So, how do you do it? I used typewriters instead of computers most of my life--so, just navigating to proper places is a challenge 4 me! Since, we have medical probs. Feedback is important and it really, really helps! BESIDES, I BELIEVE WE ARE ALL HERE FOR A BIG PURPOSE--TO HELP EACH OTHER. Like even little things, was at the Post Office today, a guy was on his way to dump, saw I had some garbage and he took it for me, saved me 10 mile trip and I hate to go to the dump! I thanked him and on my way home, wondered how I could do better than that for him, a stranger! It really helped me out!

Yes its nice to be nice painretreat, and you dont find many people that will help anyone these days.
Right this is how you add to someones reputation,When you are reading the posts in the top right of the message box you will see an icon that looks like a set of scales click on it and then you will see from there that you can type a comment, it as easy as that.

I had my rep turned off for a long time and only switched it on when I started a thread called Unpopular Opinions
I switched it on in the hope that I could maybe piss off enough people to gain a negative score , it didn't work.
It would seem my "unpopular opinions" weren't that unpopular with the people here.
I check out if people leave comments because of simple curiosity but I rarely care what others think of me anyway so it wouldn't bother me if my rep was high or low.
