I usually do about a bowl or two,I think I go deaf when I am high,cause I blast my Music,I always burn outside and I have a boombox out there.
But If I am with a freind or around company,it usually gets loud,mostly crackin jokes and laughing.I havent really much experience with just being so stoned I just sit there,I usualy end up doin something-watch Movies,talk story with freinds/family or play games.
oh,unless I am drinking kava and burning,then I am usually just slumped in my chair in a mdeitating type of high,I just sit and think about stuff.

sometimes I roll a fatty and burn it myself. Usually I don't finish it. I just packed a small bowl, two-three hits. I'm wrecked real good! : )

with people it about the same amount between two and ten hits should do the trick.

i usually smoke from 2 bowls to a gram (.6-1g) at a time, for example today i twisted up a blunt and just puffed it to the dome, and then i smoke more bowls later

if i smoke anything but bowls im with someone else

I can get high off almost nothing. People never believe how little I want loaded in my bowl when I am in a group. Just one or two hits, and I am good with a group. The reason is exactly what the OP asked about. If I smoke too much I get quiet. My personality kind of shuts down. I have a very active imagination, and if I get TOO high in a group, my brain goes off into a strange direction, and I have trouble having a normal conversation, or any conversation at all.

So in a group I like a small hit or two, and I like to keep up with what is going on around me.

If I am alone and I have some boring thing to do, I like to have a hit or two, enough to get a little high but keep up with what I am doing.

If I am alone with nothing to do, I like to get totally blazed, 5 or 6 good hits, or maybe more. Or maybe a strong dose of green dragon. Then just let my brain go off wherever it wants to...

About 3 hits, usually smoking some good good stuff. And I hit the bowl about every 20 or 30 minutes from there. And i'm usually pretty quiet. I like a mellow high.

when my bf and I sit down at night to relax and smoke, we smoke pretty consistently until we go to sleep. When the bowl is cooked, i empty it and re-fill it. We'll use the vaporizer also on occasion.

And usually I'm more quiet and reflective when I partake. But sometimes I get loud, but usually it's because were all discussing politics or cracking jokes.
