"California to legalize weed for everybody." This statement is pretty misleading, as California has no plans in the works to do anything of the sort from what the article said. But yes, they're having yet another vote for legalization on the ballot, which is great, but it doesn't mean the moment is imminent. Can't say I've heard of this "news agency" either, so I don't know if the source is reputable.

As much as I can appreciate California for putting a bill like this on the ballot, I can't say I'm all that confident that the measure will pass. It apparently wants to exclude growers and resellers from paying any Federal income tax, and that alone makes me doubt its ability to sway voters. It'll be interesting to see what happens with it, but until we start seeing some advocacy on the Feds end, I don't know how likely it'll ever be to freely sell/tax it.

Besides the point that there are a few misleading issues with this article, it makes a very important point about our rights in this country. The government has not protected our Americans Rights in this matter.

Anyone with myspace, I encourage you to repost this, once some more info pops up down the road

This could actually make it through! If not, it will at least turn heads of america! Exercise your rights as an American! protect the best interest's of the people!

It's already legal if you visit san francisco. you'd be written a ticket for jaywalking before you are written a ticket for marijuana. You can get away with more things on the street in SF than in any other town in america--this includes taking a fat shit right in the street, in the center of the financial district

in fact, more often than not, you will smell either 1) marijuana or 2) urine/shit while walking down the street of san francisco. it's especially true in the haight area.
