Thread: Who likes to smoke and play poker?

I do.

It definitely helps me keep my cool while playing 5 hour + sessions, but one downside is that it does take me longer to analyze a given situation. The fact that i do not lose my cool and always stick to my game plan when the inevitable bad beat comes along favours my view about smoking weed and playing poker.

Anyone else got experience of smoking and playing poker? Does it improve your play or not?

I love to play poker,love to get stoned.I've never tried poker sober becouse im never sober,so dont have a control group from which to decide what's better.

Am I the only person alive that didn't buy into this whole poker craze? And why the hell do they show poker on sports channels... it's a card game not a sport.

I liked poker before it became so famous...It is kinda trendy now,to me it's similar to chess,a gentleman's game that require's intelligent thought.The fact you can make good money at it ofc. is a bonus.My buddies and i use it as an excuse to drink beer an hang out.It seam's like watching poker on tv would be as boring as watching golf...I watch poker all the time,I guess it's for research purposes.

im a huge fan of playing poker, but i think texas hold em is the STUPIDEST game out there. we play dealers choice, games like 55 , midnight baseball, follow the queen, drop gut, 77, seven card stud , piss in the sink....

the classics, texas hold em sucks in my opinion.

Definately. If someone asks me to play poker the first thing I say is "is it texas hold em? If it is then Im not playing"

But Ive actually never played it stoned... That might be something to try.
