I have read that smoking the seeds gives people massive headaches... Is this true or a myth?

Also I am wondering about stems

Many people report headaches from smoking seeds, so I doubt it's a myth. But I really can't tell you from first hand experience since I avoid smoking them by trying to stick to "seedless" stuff, and should I find one while cleaning mj I remove it. AND I'm not willing to do that experiment on myself.

Seeds are there to grow more plants and stems are just there to hold the leaves and have something for the buds to grow on. When you are down to just seeds and stems.....your out of smoke.

i wouldnt say that smoking the seeds or stems cause a headache. ive done it before and have not had that issue. not to say that people dont. i think it all has to do with your body more than the seeds. when the seeds burn they let off a really stanky smell. and some people probably just get a headache from smelling the smoke. same with stems, a much thicker and more burning smell may cause some to get headaches.

I think they do, one day i finished my stash and all there was left seeds and stems collected over time. So i thought i would give it a try, rolled big blunt of them... half way of smoking it, i had to throw it away because i got big headache. Since then i choose not to smoke them.

i think i read somewhere that seeds contain are mostly protein and this is what causes the headaches when smoked.

I know that seeds have more digestible protein than soy beans but idk if that would be the cause of the headache. Tho you're for sure gonna get one if you smoke seeds.

Who cares if it gives you headaches or not? Smoking seeds is fucking stupid. they have absolutely no THC (I don't know what would make you think they do...)

Stems on the other hand may give you a very mild buzz because they do have some trichomes on them. But I wouldn't recommend smoking them because it's also stupid.

I once dared my friend to smoke nothing but seeds once we got enough for a solid bowl. I told him he was going to have a huge headache but didn't believe me. He had to find out the damn hard way. This was like four years ago when I was 16, I don't think I could find anyone dumb enough that I hang out with today to smoke some stems or seeds.

I usually have to continue to smoke to get my headache to stop if there happened to be a seed in the bowl,joint,blunt,etc. I just have to like smoke my headache away. It's odd I guess but it works for me.
