Thread: What strain is rag weed

Just out of curiosity what is rag weed? like what strains are they ? does anyone know? I have always wondered this any feed back would be great.

Ragweed is a plant that causes a lot of people to have hay fever. If you are talking about marijuana called Rag Weed that is probably just what we call schwag or duff (or crap). It is just really low quality marijuana that was grown poorly, harvested too early or just the poorer parts of the plant. It is not a particular strain of weed. Any pot when grown poorly can be come schwag (bunk, commercial, whatever term describes low qual pot).

It's a cross between ragweed and sawgrass...

so your telling me that shwag or raggs are nothing more then some one not knowing what they are doing ? so its not a few low grade strains?

Yup....

Low grade strains can be grown and taken care of properly to look, feel and taste like high grade....it just won't have as strong effects.... It's up to the handlers to keep up the quality....

gatekeeper is correct. It could be a local strain somewhere. There are thousands of strains out there and new ones being bred up all the time. There is no real naming convention. Some folks believe that the name should reflect the cross. Like pineapple express was a male pineapple crossed with a female train wreck plant. Otherwise it would train pine or train apple or some such if the male was train wreck and the femail was pineapple. But where is the rule book.
