Thread: Apple Users?

Just wondering if any of you use a mac or am I the only one? lol

Well, I have a Mac, but I don't use it online. It's an old one (but not as old as my Apple ][e), but I could get it online, if I wanted. For everyday use, I use my homebuilt PC.

15 inch g4 powerbook.....my fav all around
12 inch g4 powerbook.....travel...
g5 ....unreal.....jus for editing

no im used to that apple suck shit, i could really care less, some times on what computers people have aslong as you can look at porn and post on cannabis.com its a good computer to me

i just wanted to see the respones, all these apple users posting on this thread about how much they like apple, i just had to post that link lol. i could'nt help myself.

I think both sides of the "apple debate" are a bit overated. Apple users claim they solve the worlds problems and pc users claim apple is the devil. Apple is great for what they do (multimedia), and they can compete at the same level as a pc for common everyday tasks (web surfing word processing, etc), but they do have their limitations. Mac isn't going to keep up with a sun system for serving BIG stuff, and because of perfomance issues with virtual desktop, mac is less than ideal for most common applications.

Also One of their big claims is they are super secure because they are "under the radar." This is bullshit, about 6 months back a HUGE whole was found that easily gave remote users access to the computer just by access through a web site. I'm not saying that windows is any safer, however mac users seem to have a false sense of security. I think there is something big waiting for mac users, but thats just speculation.

All this said, if you really want to diss on macs then destroy every cd you own. Even if it wasn't orginally recorded using a mac, it was certainly mastered on one.

Like I said they are beautiful for what they do, but they aren't going to save the rainforest... yet

If you use a computer to take a 3-dimensional topographical layout of Vin Diesel's body, then divide every coordinate on the graph by pi, the outcoming number will cause the computer to become self-aware.

I bet they used a Mac to do that HAHA
