I have a project which I have to hand-in in 2 months time and I have to design a ventilation and air-conditioning system for a 20 room guest house plus any additional rooms I like

So I had the great idea of making a smoking room* for anyone who likes to smoke anything. It will have big cushions on the floor to sit on and big comfy sofas. it will have a rolling bar with a great selection of tobacco and you can take hash, or home grown weed where it will be rolled for you. Soft rock, chill out or reggae will be played. there will be place for a live band to play

What do you think? have i included everything, feel free to comment or add anything.

(BTW the lecturer agreed to make such a room)

*smoking inside in Malta is illegal unless the place has adequate ventilation and very few bars have smoking areas (which are legal). This law was passed about 2 years ago

a door that leads out to a great porch/patio with the hammocks the above-mentioned poster suggested and some of those great sky chairs and a wide ledge around the entire porch to set your smokes/drinks, etc on. Include a chiminea for the colder months of the year.

lol forgot the lava lamps, could provide hours of entertainment if you're baked lol

porch/patio is great for the maltese climate , i like the idea a lot

also forgot a snack bar (for munchies)

Bean bags and a stereo system from hell.....me mate had a room with like twenty been bags and loads of scatttttter cushoins and a huge huge stereo

TV, adjustable lighting, bean bag chairs, small table, carpet, video games, and if you want to make it awesome, get a projector instead of a TV, those things are sweet!

i think you need a room where the only way to get in is through a closethave a window with ac in there a ceiling fan and exaust fan a water facuet( it you want to grow and smoke in same room ;-) ;-) ) and a mni fridge for munchies just my 2 cents

Make everything really soft.

Like have a big hookah in the middle of a big wrap around couch... Make sure you have lots of plush and cool lava lamps and have a TV in the room with a dvd player. Put in a stereo also with some good speakers.

Make sure you have a hammock, and maybe a foldout bed or something for those nights where you just get really stoned and go to sleep :-)


A mini fridge would be cool also if you could afford it.

What a fun project..
Just dont put aNY regular incandescent lights in there..make it a bit dim, with lots of plasma and black lights..yes sensis lava lamp idea was right on, too. Dont forget the surround sound system and salt water aquariums! Im sure youll think of some great ideas.

Man, yea. get those MASSIVE laa lamps, get like 2 or 3 just to put in he corners, dim lights. Nintendo 64 (because everyone loves the classics stoned) with surround sound and plenty of music, and the hooka idear from ozzy oz about the big hookah in the middle of a big wrap around couch.

Then it would be perfect and that bar idear as well with the rolling thing with tabaco and hash, hehe

I would buy one of those glass tables that has like 3 different levels and when you spin one they all rotate, and a small desk lamp that has a doughnut light with a magnifying glass in the middle.

a huge skylight , with lounge chairs. But only opened at night.

Have the ceiling filled with millions of fiber optics that mimic the stars, and every 30 sec theres a shooting start for sombody to wish on.
