Donating and Joining the board

Whats with the thread about donating money to the board being "shut down" for lack of a better word. The prices are gone and the info on how to give funds have vanished.

When I first started lurking on here I thought that if these people seem cool I would join. Guess I am not special enough.

The new owner doesn't know how he wants to handle that yet. All of the special members are from before.

That's pretty much it. I would think about joining too, if there was the chance. Although, I might not, so don't stick me to that.

Hrm.. Didn't know the site has new owners. I just wanted to send a PM to a few people on here. If you have to be a paid member to PM and you are unable to pay for a membership then.... Only the cann.com masters can PM?

Truthfully, I would rather have a full membership system with dozens of integrated features than a slightly broken one that might not work so well and throw server problems through the roof.

Eh, hopefully it'll be done somewhat soon though.

There are alot of 'Cafe Members' at the moment, but in all honestly it's nothing special. There are a few extra features with are kinda cool, like larger avatars (see mine) or the ability to have a custom user title. There's also a 'Cafe Lounge', but it's not used very often. The 'Cafe' system was a great idea to raise some money for Cann.com, and that's the main reason myself and others signed up to it straight away, but many people would be disappointed with what they were given for their money.

So new new admin has disabled the feature, and all of us current Cafe Members are gonna stay like this temporarily until a new system replaces it.
