I think 17+ is good. Lots of people have somehow matured between 16-17 as they are now really thinking about college and what they need to do with their lives. And the people who are gonna fuck up and make mistakes, would probably be making the same mistakes with alcohol.

no one actually mature until they have experianced enough of life IMO.

they say males don't become mature until their late 20's sometimes mid 30s.

They also say females become mature around 17+.

I think it all depends on the person personaly.

what age? im not sure.. and i don't care.. if legal i think it should be age 18+ if your old enough to die for your country you should be old enough to experiance what the world has to offer. including alcohol.

not mature enough at 16...18 is fine...at the age of 18 if you can buy cigarettes which will do nothing except for get you addicted and increase your chances of mortality, you should be able to buy and smoke marijuana...

I vote 16 for the same reason as the OP

It depends how mature they are. It also depends on how much thier bodies grown. The body doesn't stop growing until your around twenty five I think so you should really let your body grow.

17-18 would be where I think most people can start in moderation after they've a little time to grow and have the maturity but not too much. Before that I think an brownie for someone that's really going through a tough time somehow, like with depression or pain or something.

That's my opinion.

i personally think 18+ but i started smokn when i was 12 and it didnt hinder my growth or brains functionability so who knows

I started blazing at 13 and while I got through school fine, graduated and got accepted to my first choice university, I know a lot of people who didn't who might have gotten the extra time and focus to get through school if they weren't spending all their time bunnin under the bleachers.

I'd say 18 is an appropiate age...16 would be pushing it, and anything under that you're dealing with kids just getting used to not being 'children' anymore

I think with puberty, parents should handover a baggie and a basic pipe. Maybe parents should smoke with kids. I think it would make those alien years better. What do I know?

I think 16, but only at home with their parents' permission. 18 to buy it on your own. Medical for any age that it can help, but it should be consumed, not smoked.

16 yrs old seems right. Saying 12, even though I don't like to place intelligence just because of your age seems too young by a legal standpoint. 16-18 seems right, even though I started before 16.

I think any age for a smoke now and again , but chronic use could seriously damage somebody 12/13 etc. , although most chronic users seem 2b over 18 anyway

IMHO, 19 years is valid,19 years old would give kids a chance to graduate high school before hand and learn of it before going into college, i know plenty of people where the time between high school and their post-secondary education is a sort of phase where you need to find yourself and know what you'll be.

15/16 is when i started. And worked out fine for me. I think 16 is a good starting point.
