Ok, I plan on going around 3 lowryder in a 2' x 2' closet which is 7 feet high (so there is loads of space and these dont grow more than around 16")

I will add a small fan for circulation and open the cuboard a few times a day to release any build up of stale air but there will be one 8hr stage where I will be at work and unable to open the cuboard.

Now I am considering drilling a hole in the top of the cuboard and the ceiling into the attic for ventilation.

Will this make a big difference? I can only drill one hole so is it better to use this as an exhaust to push air out or to bring air in or would there be no point for such small plants?

I think you are on the right track. If you want this to work and not just work but work well it may be worth it to open up a hole for exhausting. You could do fresh air intake but if you only plan on making only 1 hole exhausting is a good option. Is smell a concern, if so attach a carbon scrubber to the exhaust. If smell is of no concern since the air will go in the attic and it's only three plants attach the exhaust to an air cooled light that pulls its air from the hood in the room. Cools light and exchanges air in the room but does not take care of smell. Can you get a 250 hps or a 400, I think with a large enough fan, 150 cfm or more, and a vented hood you could turn those plants into three monstrous babes. Good luck let me know if I can help. Thanks dude! Im gonna vent into the bedroom as smell is not a problem and I dont really feel like cutting a hole in the roof! Im only gonna be able to exhaust but the closet is quite large and I will be doing lowryder so I think I should be ok...fingers crossed

u need to vent the air u remove to an ionic bonder to remove any oder unless u dont care about the overpowering sweet stinch of illegal gunga carefully being grown in the next room
