Just sharing my love.
Well this is my 2nd grow personally, but have helped alot of my friends in there grows. been sitting on this set-up for 2 years now and finally get to use it!! tying scrog for the 1st time.
3-kush plants (3 different types, was 4 but found 1 to have balls) soil - fox farm nutes- floranova (grow/bloom) & koolbloom lights - veg=125wcfl & 250hps, flower- 400whps fans- bathroom fans for intake & exhaust + 3 lil fans to keep air movement going. Box- roughly 2' x 3' - 6ft tall. downfall is using emergency blanket instead of mylar, wich causes heat to hold in the box. also a question for the vets. ive never cut water leafs off but im going to try it this time to get good light penitration, im 1 week into flower when would you guys start cutting for better penitration. and the pics: Last edited by BigKrew; Apr-24-2008 at 17:58. day 28 flower! getting stinky and sticky!!
well here they are wish i could take better pictures. getting EXtremely smelly. need to build a carbon filter, but right now just using dryer sheets in the exhaust so it smells like ive been doing laundry for a month straight, works pretty good for a quick fix!
also i dont know if anybody has ever had this before but 2 flower just on the top bud it looks like some one put a lighter up to the hairs and they singed, but there no where near the light and in a good ventilated area of the box so its not heat?? anybody? had to get rid of the screen for the scrog, gunna try again next grow, they just got to big!! (no branches were really going thru the screen!!) also needed to move the pots around to get the more dominant plant away from the light. as u can see in some pics the main cola one is sitting inside the reflector, not harming it due to some much air movement going thru the reflector. im thinking 4 more weeks! they need to quick growing!!!!

new ?, ive been trimming the shit out of these things, ive been doing it since flower started and have not had any adverse affect onthe growth, mainly the large water leafs. but what do u guys
think would what should be in the light more the bud sights or the leafs? mygame plane is to keep every budsight in the light? or should the water leafs be in the light? what needs to take in the most light?

7weeks!!!
alright think i got a lil heavy on the nutes this past week, temps been getting real high due to the outside temps!!! but got them controlled with a a/c unit now. started flushing today. trichomes are milky/clear more milky though. what is the typical transition time for the trichs to go from milky to amber???
got some real fat main colas though thats for sure, the one got a lil to close to the light tho!!

Hey BigKrew,
Looks great!! I also have plants in Week 7. I'm not looking at the trichomes like you are and have defaulted to 55 days for the initial harvest based on advice from a knowledgeable friend. Based on reading Jorge Cervantes, I'm going to go in and trim off the totally yellow leaves and hang in until next week. Also, hard to tell exactly with the pictures in HPS light, but it looks like you still have quite a few white pistils on the buds.. Check out my 2nd grow from the link below.. Question to every one!!!!
so as i near harvest, i havent been smokeing any mj to keep me clean to pass a drug test for a job. but what about when i harvest? am i going to get thc into my system? how could i avoid it wear gloves? i remember last crop getting a head change/ headache from trimming for so long.
any suggestions???

You probably got the headache from hunching over your work surface. The possibility of exposure to a level that would even show up on a test just being in contact with the plants is like slim to none- but since resin is a bitch to get off your hands anyway, and you'll smell like a skunk orgy for days... go to the pharmacy and get a box of cheap latex gloves for trimming.

awh sh*t
so ive flushed my plants, 2 are looking effin awesome! colas the size of baseball bats and solid as a rock, trichs are 99.9% milky at this point, anyone know how long till i get 80% milky 20% amber?? i was thinking friday or monday???? dont wanna chop during weekend to much traffic during then.
however the one plant (front dominant) is looking like shiat!!! its gotten really stemy just about every leaf is dead on it but it has weight to it, the buds are just really stemy and spread out. anyone know what it could be? trichs are still milky/clear hairs still 50% white?!?!?!?!?! should i chop it and get what i can, or wait and be patient and see if they fill in?? heres a few pics..ill try and get some more tonight when light turns off. buds are still moist not dead like the leafs. HELP!!!!!
