Just bought a 400w dual ballast, starting off with a 400w Cool MH; I will switch to a HPS when flowering. This in in a closet about 2' 6" by 5'. Right now just three plants in their first week but will be adding a few more in the days to come. I plan on growing to about 12" before flowering, trying to keep them short due to only having 400W. Tomorrow I will be installing an exhaust fan into the attic which will later be connected to a carbon filter (closer to flowering). I have considered topping the plants but I think I am going to hold off on this batch due to the delay in recovery. Any advise or criticism is welcome; so please give it!
a few more pics. Day one is obviously not day one of plants growth, just day one under this lighting system. Plants were seeded in veg cabinet using florescent grow bulbs.
