Transplant!! HELP =/ plant verge of death

So basically the pre-soil was constipated with fungis. I decided to dump the soil and expose the roots as much as I can do ridden of the old soil... I did not expect the roots to be so gigantic!!! They were humangous... I lost a few but think I kept a lot... I just dropped it in then put a ton of soil all around it..

After the transplant, the soil was completely dry, so I soaked the soil with water... Maybe way too much water..

Main Question: Do i leave the light on it??? or leave it unlit for 8 hours??

Thumbs down depends

You determine hours of light per day based on what you want the plant to do. Do you want the plant to veg or to bloom?

I would suggest you read the stickies at the top of each grow forum and learn to use the "search" function. Or even Google?

Right now I want the plant to bloom. I've been giving it a 16 hr light/ 8 hr dark, but because someone mentioned it. So more night = blooming?

Thanks

If you want your plant to flower, which I'm not even sure if it can yet, your lighting schedule needs to be 12-hours on, 12-hours off.

You'll definitely want to do some reading before you get too much further in your grow. The Grow FAQs are a real good place to start, and if that's all the light you currently have available, the Indoor Lighting forum will provide you with even more priceless info. Read up as much as possible beforehand and you won't be so off-guard when these things happen. Also, you'll find that the more experienced growers are more willing to chime in when the OP has done their homework beforehand.

Take care.

Edit: Sorry, and your plant should pull through as long as you don't over/underwater, AND read up on how to keep these plants alive and thriving.

Plant problems? Fill out the Troubleshooting Form BEFORE asking how you should fix it!
