I have been growing (1st time beginner) bagseed plants under a Procyon100 and (3) 43 watt (150watt equiv.) compact fluor. for 18 days now from germanation (18hours light/6 hours dark). While I can see that there are different "strains" in the mix, they are now at 6-10" tall. I have read and read on this forum about "sexing the plants, but, my plants are showing "growths......" near the stalk and stem that could be leaves (very small), or sex organs ??????? I have lookied at pictures and I just cannot tell. I want to wait 30days total before going 12 hours light/12 hours dark. These "growths" look the same on all the plants but look like sex organs and I am so inexperienced that I cannot tell ?????? Is it too earily to sex the plants ? I have no camera to take pictures or I would post. These plants are growing so fast I don't want to screw things up. What should I do..... If someone would be so kind as to post a picture of a male sex organ and a female sex organ I would really appreciate it..............

Just google for the image. As far a being to early, it might be. You can sometimes sex your plants early if you see some signs of pre-flowering... but for the most part you have to wait till you're flowering. One more thing for you, its pretty easy sexing the plant... if its got balls it's a dude and if got some beautiful pistils, then you got a smokin hot lady on your hands.

you need t flower it at least a week if not 2 before you can tell. theres a big difference trust me. the male plants have somewhat of a different look to them. also, if you look at the stalk where it meets a node, they all have small growths there, but if they are balls, you havew a boy, if you see hairs coming through its a girl. you probably wo't be able to tell for another couple weeks if you switch your cycle to 12/12
