Hello all, I'm currently in NC and have been thinking about starting my own garden for about a year now. I finally have the finances in order and am looking for any advice some of the more experienced "green thumbs" might be willing to share with me . I'm considering a 1.2x1.2x2.0 meter closet size grow box and am just wanting to start out with an autoflower from the Lowryder line, maybe AK-48 or Diesel Ryder. I know the box is overkill height-wise, but I want room to grow . Any recommendations on lighting solutions? Also, can somebody explain how ballasts work? Would you recommend hydro or a potted method?

Ya gotta get some reading in for sure. Just a bit of advise bigredrollr ya need to do some reading. I read everyday and still need help. But when the people know what their doing, like Dutch Pimp gets question after question it makes them think ya didnt do your homework. They had to do it, so we should too. Took me awhile to read enough to grasp some stuff, then people including Dutch helped me. And there great people, they just need to know your doing your share. Know what i mean

Im just beginning my 1st indoor grow. Im using cfl's. Its easy and iv seen nice plants grown under them. But bottom line its easy and ya want easy for your
1st grow. Read the grow logs, iv learned a ton from them. Good luck
