Flowering White Widow
I was reading up on white widow and wanted to get some feedback about this:
White Widow feminized seeds are (60%/40%) indica/sativa cross-strain and is best appropriate to indoor cannabis farming. Our feminized seeds produce as far above the ground as 35-80 cm with the yield up to 450 gr per m2. It's optional to flower (12 hour light) this marijuana variety for 8 weeks, but 10 weeks will actually give you the crystals you are following. Try to turn the light off in total the final 2 weeks of the flowering cycle- or at least down to 8 hours. This keeps the flowers from re-growth and stresses the plant into giving up its last drop of goodness as gemstone to defend the flower! The buds have so a great deal THC on them that it is hard to see them at all. The main part i was wondering about was the 2 weeks of total darkness...does anyone do that and does it work? |

With White Widow, you're probably not going to notice much of a difference in trichome production because there's going to be a shitload of trichs at ten weeks! It's one of my favorite strains to grow and smoke, but be careful... she packs a punch!
![]() As for the darkness, I've tried a few days darkness before harvesting, and again, never really could tell much of a difference... mostly because the buds are literally snow-white by that time anyway. I'd be wary of trying it a full two weeks before the final chop, but that's just me. Have fun and good luck!
