I think you could just pollinate a branch of your female, so you'll get a bunch of seeds and a litlle bud also. Just don't pollinate the main cola (yeah,that's pretty obvious
 ) !!I did it in my previous outdoor grow by collecting some pollen in a bag, putting a branch of my female plant in, SEALING the bag and shaking the branch. you just need to be aware that there's no air flowin inside your grow room or you're gonna fuck up everything. You'll come up with a single branch (you decide which one is most suitable) of your female plant full of seeds and all the rest is nice sinsemilla for ya

Hmm that sounds like A prett good idea. So just to double check you dont cut the branch off the plant you just Bag it up correct?
I think I could manage that. I got some new seeds today. They didn't have the ones I was looking for so I went with a cheeper batch they are.. Blueberry x Haze Special From "Growers Choice" some place in Canada don't know where - the Head Shop sells them. Should be better than the shit on the streets regardless. I hope they are nice.. Thankls for all the help guys, If I am able to polinate succesfully. I will have a cross of Boggle Gum(Male) and BlueJay(Female) I hope it works cuz I would love a bunch of seeds. Thanks for everything guys... Im germinting the new seeds tonight Ill keep Ya'll posted! kd_special

how will I know when the female plant is done making its seeds? (kinda hard to find info on sexing plants) Same time as it would be making Budss to I guess eh? \\ I wonder if its even worth it with my small weak female. My Male is plump Rumper. Seeds are 60 bucks for 10 here, So far i get about 50% from them both times. If this gives me say 50 seeds its worth it. and what would that make the seeds? Bogglegum(male) x BlueJay(female) or is it said the other way around female then male?
things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmm. Believe it or not one clone has rooted, unfortunatly it came from a male. Im still pumped that I was able to get a rooted somthing. espically in my poor conditions. The main thing is there is one female clone that I am hoping will root. picts take it easy,,, kdspecial

Anyone have any idea How many seeds A plant can on Average give? Like say in this example a small 1ft plant with Cfls? like in my Grow? Is it even worth trying to cross these plants? I like the idea of crossing boggle gum as Im pretty sure BOG are hard seeds to get now.. Retired or somthing

some quick copy an paste from the net (it's not my own work, but it explains the procedure better than me
)"A plant is ready to pollinate 2 weeks after the clusters of female flowers first appear. If you pollinate too early, it may not work. Wait until the female flowers are well established, but still all while hairs are showing. Turn off all fans. Use a paper bag to pollinate a branch of a female plant. Use different pollen from two males on separate branches. Wrap the bag around the branch and seal it at the opening to the branch. Shake the branch vigorously. Wet the paper bag after a few minutes with a sprayer and then carefully remove it. Large plastic zip-lock bags also. Slip the bag over the male branch and shake the pollen loose. Carefully remove the bad and zip it up. It should be very dusty with pollen. To pollinate, place it over a single branch of the female, zipping it up sideways around the stem so no pollen leaks out. Shake the bag and the stem at the same time. Allow to settle for an hour or two and shake it again. Remove it a few hours later. Your branch is now well pollinated and should show signs of visible seed production in 2 weeks, with ripe seeds splitting the calyxes by 3-6 weeks. One pollinated branch can create hundreds of seeds, so it should not be necessary to pollinate more than one or two branches in many cases." hope I brought kind of help

Cloned
So my clones did root all of em. One was female.. Sweet
Planted it in a grow bag with This coco product this time. Added some Hydroton rocks. I had this stuff from my first attempt, http://www.grotek.net/products/guide...code=cocoearth I tried Promix I wanna try this again. It seems cleaner. I don't think I added enough Dolomite lime though, My coco run off was 6 - 6.5, Im pretty sure thats no good. But I'll see what happens. Lates... kd_special

I think that would depend on your Strain. And in most cases Greener is better. espically darker Green.
those are just clones though I wouldn't call them plants.. noone has notice how the Dough boy is taking advantage of Dough Girl? I opened up the box and they were going at IT., Anyone know if I should cut off the big leaves on that clone? to promote more new growth. Or should I wait untill it grows a little first? lates all kd_special

Its been a little bit. the clone has been growing but Slowly. I think that has somthing to do with the fact that it was in flowering when I took it from Momma. Perhaps theres a transition time to switch it back to Veg. Its on 18/6 Im thinking about going 24 tho. Also still wondering If I should cut those big leaves off yet to help with new faster growth.
In the top of the Cab I am sexing to plants, Heres my Male and Female Hopfully I get a good amount of seeds. Just incase you haven't read anything else besdies this post. Male is (BoggleGUm) and Female is (BLueJay) Hopefully it works out. I am also starting some sees today Just for fun and Cuz I have the space. They will grow up with the clone. They are (BLueBerry x Haze Special) Not sure how they will work out or their Sativa Indica ratio but they were 60CAD for 10 so it worked for me. Because I ran into a height problem with my cab, Like I grew from seed 5 weeks. and the plants in flowering grew way too tall. This time around Ill have to major LST or see what flowering after 4 weeks from seed will do. Its not much but its an update.... the male in full flower looks cool... theres powder all over the cab (Pollin sacks are opening) kd_special

Pictures....
NOthing new happening, Got a few seedlings starting, Hope to raise them with this one clone. the clone is looking weird it grows slow, and is still looking like a flower. I need it to turn around and grow into a plant. Im gonna get some super thrive to try and help some roots grow. This clone is 2 weeks in coco and 4 weeks from it was a cutting. regardless its pretty cool, it hasn't died yet so thats always good. In the top of the cab is that seeding project. is looking cool i think, Theres pollin all over the place and I think the female is looking Pollinated. kd_special

Somthing New...
The Tragically Hip have released a new album. Whos that you say? If your Canadian this band is most likely no stranger to you. One of our greats, Not to popular in the USA. Im sure we will be hearing More Hip through the US with the new album produced by Legend Producer Bob Rock. He is the man of Rock and Roll recordings. One of his most famous is the Metallica Black Album and every Metallica album to this date I believe. im stoned and just bought this Disc im glad i purchased this cd. I like most usually download. pictures///// The top of the box plant (BlueJAy) is pollinated Im pretty darn sure anyways. I can see the Catlyx looking like they ahve seeds in them, No hairs etc. SO i said goodby to the male (BOggle Gum) I shook as much pollin into a bag as possible. Im gonna store it in freezer and then see if I can pollinate another branch of some plant at a later date. In the bottom of the cab, The clone is dying or seeming like it anyways. It still grows hairs and crystals kinda form on the leafs. There could be numerous reasons this happened. I think my pot was too big for a the clone to get established in personally also nutes or somthign look ta teh stem of the clones its pure purpal, That and other things too. hahaha But the bottom of the soil (At the holes of the bottom of the pot) is still wet from the original soak of the soil. Anyways dont matter ill get more. i could repot but im lazy and its messy in the apartment and i just cleaned. PLus i have a plant that grows under a window and shitty cfls almost done in flowering like days away. Its wher ethe clone came from. Im thinking about trying to reveg its bottom bud sites for clones. But I am afarid of bringing in some bugs into the cab. IM spraying its bottom leaves(not the buds) with neem oill to kinda prep it in its last week. Im worried about bringing bugs in cuz I just got 3 seedlings going. One... BlueJay other two BlueBerryxHaze Special thos eseeds I got in TO suked only 2 germed out of 10 I wish i could have looked at the seeds to see how neon green they were. They were from Growers Choice not sure where it is located but i assume its in Canada somwhere THe BLuejay ones I got from them all germinated 10/10 they were extreamly dark seeds. my methods were soaking em in just water and papertowels had success with both numerous times. but not with those light green seeds... uhhh this turned out a long post wow,,,, kd Last edited by kdspecial; Oct-19-2006 at 02:56.

Cleaned out the cab tonight TOok SOme pictures.
I can definitly see seeds on the plant in the flowering part of box. They are bright green I believe once they turn dark colour i Harvert em. there looks to be about 50 to 100 seeds so far. If it all works out it will be totally worth it. The time waiting for seeds rather than some bud. In the bottom. I have the seedlings. They look over watered a bit so im laying off for a day or two. I also have the new addition the the box. The chopped plant that was flowering in my window of bedroom. I cut the top of her off today and now am drying it. I shoudl have taken some pictures. I am hopeing to Reveg this plant. BUt I have noticed spider mites/ on her The last couple weeks I have been laying need oil down on those bud sites I left on her. I will be super careful to not let them spread. I cut alot of leaves that were infected off today. I hopefully with careful managment can kill them now before they get any worse. Its been a while....
I have been mad working.... I scrapped the old seedlings and the clone and switched from coco back to proMix. I have also got a Ph Pen so I can lower the Ph of my water. Im pretty sure plants like lower water Ph. I know ProMix is designed to work with plain tap water. I saterted some new seeds. They are "SumerTime Budda" and I have one plant that is BlueBerry x SpecialHAze. They are green and looking healthy. the seeding plant looks like shit. Its finishing though. Thrips got at it, I have controled the problem now but it seems the Ph got off or it had some heat stress. cuz its shriviling up. All the lower bud seed spots are loking green and the pods are starting to open up. they are also still growing white hairs. They are all looking healthy unlike the top of the plant. Anyone know If I should cut off the bigger dead fan leaves? Im nervous to cut them and hurt it more. kd kd

HEy good to see your plants are greening up so much.
I saw that Pillsbury doughboy thing and started cracking up... you should post those little pervs in the grow mascot thread! The pic of the 3 plants under the T5 is awesome. They look nice! Those lights are so great... I got one barely used from a grow buddy and my seedlings have never looked better. Are you alternating blue/red bulbs or all the same sort? I got mine with alternating...

While I try and find some Humas and compost. Or perhaps just give a watering with plain Phd water to help clean that soil a bit. I feed every watering so maybe a feed - feed - water schedual may work better. thansk for the input guys and Gals.. kd

Yeah that seeding plant did take a beating. She had a few hot days though too.
yes I would love to see how that solution works for you. yes basically the purpal veins have stopped but the leafs petoils still are redish. I think its just cuz of the Ph being off the Food can't get to the plant. next watering I am gonna ph it up like mad. As well I have been reading in my Grow Bible By Greg somthing or other. I can add a bit of lime to the top of the soil and this will soak into the soil gradually. But im thinking of staying away from that if I can. perhaps I will add lime to the Promix when I start next time to see if that helps to balance it out more throughout the grow. But Im fairly happy with this grow so far, Its fun a shit regardless... kd
