1st Thread, 1st Grow, 1st Lowryder!

Today was the day I transplanted my plants to bigger pots.
The cayenne and bolivian rainbow chillis are doing pretty good as well atm.

I've also started out germinating some strawberry seeds.........and another lowryder using some moist kitchen tissue and putting it in an airtight baggie.

My backboard with the ventilation fan is kinda like half done. I bought the wrong fookin adaptor which really pissed me off, but i'm ordering the right one on ebay.

Anyway heres a few more pictures to show where i'm at now.
ps - baggie and fan can just be seen bottom left (fan backboard not actually attached yet which is why its so low down)

O yea, and i'm using 80% multipurpose soil from B&Q with 20% perlite

ur lowryder's looking real good man, and compact, though w/ 35 days to go it still has lots of time to get up to that 12-15" range

thanks man, i really want it to start accelerating now.
I can't see why it shoudlnt now. tizgot a big pot and i put it about 2 inches away from the light using a few videos to adjust height.

It'll be awesome to see how your lowryder turns out. Can't wait to see our ryders by the end.....and to get a taste of our grow!!hmmmmmmmm

Though i got a gut feelin you'll get more yield.

Just an update, been v busy recently and been neglectin my lil gal.
My other lowryder has just come up from the earth and is now showing itself.
I'm gonna start using ferts now to help get it moving.
i've heard that some people didnt manage to harvest it within the 60 day period, have any of you grown lowryder and how long did it take for you? Cheers peepal

nice man , looking very good. it also looks like your going to get a nice central bud/cola by the time harvest rolls along. by the way man, what are the sizes of your pot (the container)? I'm just using a 5" tall, only like 3.5" wide cup w/ drain holes. Since my leaves are growing much further out then the cup (from an aerial veiw) I'm thinking I'll have to transplant soon? Do you think her roots are getting crowded?

im planning on a grow for creating new seeds with the LR beans i just got in, i was thinking on planting 3 beans in a 2' x 2' plastic pan thats about 8'' deep, first under a 42w daylight cpf , then switching to 250w hps. im going to use miracle grow potting soil with equal amounts of coco coir and a little bit of vermiculite, nutes i am going for alaskan fish 5-1-1 then switching to miracle grow all purpose 15-30-15 , just want any thoughts on this grow. its my first time with this strain. thx

i began growing my lowryder in a 5" by 5" pot. I was originally going to keep it in the 5" pot because LR dont grow much but as the pot size does affect any growth for any plant i decided not to keep it in there. When i transplanted it i noticed there were already quite a few roots already reaching the bottom, so i moved it into a 7" by 7" pot. I would say transplanting your plant is a good idea. If you want the most out of your plant give it the most in return. Thanks for the compliment! I'm in the same situation as you, living with my parents - but i told my mum what it was and now shes fallen in love with it. She even wants to try cookin and smokin it lol

Yeh that sounds good to me. Remember, to get the most out of cpf's pplace it as close to your plants as you can, i've got mine 2" away. I'm also using miracle grow so thats all good to. LR is an easy strain to grow, and if you've grown before it should be a walk in the park. Good luck with youre grow!

hey u tryna share some of those lowryder seeds i could really use some good seeds there are really no good strains out here and i have a good growth rate with my new grow room im doing it for the first tyme 2 and lowryder would be perfect from my accessible space

id be happy to share the wealth once i get a batch o' beans harvest'd. many places i window-shop are sold or selling out of them, a friend in the uk saved his last batch out fo rme special b4 he ran out. i believe in passing the good karma on so-to-speak! im newbie on this site , ill try to start a thread with detail of when they are ready. goodluck to all most importantly stay SAFE!

I'd be interested in some of those beans too, if you have just a few to spare. I've been trying to find some forever, and I ordered some master low months ago that never came. So far I'm 0 for 2 on seed orders

Had a bad day today n seeing that my seedling has died has made things worse. My baby gal is doing fine though so thats all good. Just given them a water. Anyhow heres a few more pics of where im at...

Congratulations on your lowryder can't wait to see yours progress, ima take a look after typin this in.
Yeh im happy now as i think i got my joints worth lol
Im using miracle grow every 1 and a half weeks making sure not to over nute by not giving it too much.
As for the light i've put it under a 125w 6400k envirolite 18/6 adjusting height to get the most out of it.

I'm at this stage at the moment also with Lowryder.
Just growing in a cupboard.
I'm very very new to this and would like some comments on how the plant looks so far, and some answers to, I am sure, very basic questions:

The plant is approx 3 weeks old
Do I need to give it some plant feed?
Will I have to transplant, the pots are about 6"?
How will I be able to sex? What difference does it make? Can't I smoke both?
Never smoked from a grown plant, how do I harvest?
As you can see I've also sprouted another.

I told you I was very very new!!!
