i just got some really dank blueberry and was wondering if i was to make hash out of it would it make the hash taste berry like?

yes it can. I had some grape hash a while back and that stuff tasted like grape juice in my mouth . it was the bomb........I forget what the herb was called. anyone know the grape bud? its good stoney stuff but the hash was bomb, bud tasted good but the stone and the taste were the shiznit in the hash. I used to know a guy named Hash that got me that hash..........haha

i've gotta say no it hasnt in my experience,hash made using exclusivly NL5 hasnt tasted anthing like NL5 buds.i think the CWE technique wash's the flavour out(if that makes any sense)like raw veg tastes different to cooked veg .the hash's of old (afghan,marroc,0'0,nepal,hindu,etc)all taste much better,but their not usually anyware near as strong.I guess the old silk screen extraction is a trade off between taste and strength.i dont think CWE catches any of the taste just the thc

It really depends on a lot of factors.


I've had kief that smelled like the buds it came off and tasted the same. Then again I've had kief that tasted like nothing too.


It all depends on where the terpinoids reside in the buds (I believe that's the term for the chemicals that add to the high, and also give each strain it's smell)

yer max i agree maybe the water/iso extraction washes away the terpinoids(?).hash has been made in the middle east for 1000's of years i'm pretty sure they've tried water extraction(maybe not isopropyl)and their hash all tastes better(even there cheap ones taste better than CWE)of course they use organic,sun ripened weed grown in the mountains maybe dry sieveing preserves more of the taste.if could get a NYCD tasteing hash that would be sweet!
